Universidade Estadual do Maranhão (UEMA), por meio da Superintendência de Gestão Ambiental (AGA), agora faz parte do “Planetary Health Alliance”

É com muito orgulho e satisfação que anunciamos que a Universidade Estadual do Maranhão (UEMA),
por meio da Superintendência de Gestão Ambiental (AGA),
agora faz parte do “Planetary Health Alliance” que é uma organização com mais de 400 universidades,
institutos de investigação e entidades governamentais e nao governamentais de mais de 60 países em todo o mundo,
empenhados em compreender e abordar os impactos das alterações ambientais globais na saúde e no bem-estar humanos. Sabemos dos impactos da sociedade na Terra,
e precisamos cada vez mais cuidar da Saúde Planetária e buscar soluções para um mundo melhor. Saiba mais sobre a ciência da Saúde Planetária,

Desta forma,
a UEMA vem cumprindo a Lei N.º 9.975 – Política Nacional de Educação Ambiental e executando a AGENDA 2030,
em prol do desenvolvimento sustentável mundial,
por meio desta ação,
executando os ODS 3 (Saúde e Bem Estar) e ODS 4 (Educação),
ODS 11 (Cidades e comunidades sustentáveis) ODS 13 (Ação contra as mudanças climáticas). Além de está correlacionado com a categoria de Education (ED) do GreenMetric. They are committed to understanding and addressing the impacts of global environmental changes on human health and well-being. We are aware of society’s impact on Earth, and it is increasingly important to take care of Planetary Health and seek solutions for a better world.

In this way, UEMA is fulfilling Law No. 9, 975 – the National Policy on Environmental Education and implementing the AGENDA 2030 in support of global sustainable development. Through this action, UEMA is contributing to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 3 (Good Health and Well-being), 4 (Quality Education), 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), and 13 (Climate Action). This initiative is also correlated with the Education (ED) category of the GreenMetric.
